IAN FISHER
Painter ISSUE 0 2023 SS

Ian Fisher has been producing oil paintings of clouds since 2006. With his sensitive and strong brushstrokes, he captures the many surfaces depicted by clouds. They are sometimes calm, sometimes spectacular, and sometimes terrifyingly beautiful. When I look up at the sky and see layers of clouds, I think of Ian’s paintings. His images represent not just clouds, but the full spectrum of nature’s beauty — his clouds bring a touch of fantasy into our daily life.
